  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — I do not store card details)

  • Session notes and reflections (created during the course of a coaching container, held in Notion)

  • Voice notes and audio messages (exchanged via WhatsApp or Voxer during a coaching container)

  • Video session recordings (recorded via Fathom during coaching sessions, with your explicit consent)

  • Communications (emails, messages, and any information you share directly with me)

  • Website usage data (collected automatically via cookies — see Section 7)

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

Under GDPR, I process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — to deliver coaching services you have purchased, including session notes, recordings, scheduling, and communications.

  • Consent — to send you marketing emails, newsletters, and podcast updates via Substack. You can withdraw consent at any time.

  • Legitimate interests — to improve my services and maintain the security of my website, where this does not override your rights.

  • Legal obligation — where I am required to retain certain records (e.g. financial records for tax and accounting purposes under French law).

4. How I Use Your Data

I use the personal data I collect to:

  • Deliver and manage your coaching container (sessions, notes, voice messages, recordings)

  • Schedule discovery calls and coaching sessions via Acuity

  • Process payments and send invoices

  • Send you the Joy Ambition newsletter and podcast via Substack, if you have subscribed

  • Respond to enquiries and consult calls

  • Improve the quality of my services

I do not sell your personal data. I do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Tools and Data Processors

I use a number of trusted third-party platforms to deliver my services. Each acts as a data processor on my behalf and is bound by GDPR-compliant data processing terms.

Squarespace — website hosting Privacy policy: squarespace.com/privacy

Acuity Scheduling — appointment booking Acuity is used to book discovery calls and coaching sessions. When you book, Acuity collects your name, email address, and any responses you provide in the intake form. This data is used solely to manage your appointment and prepare for our conversation. Stripe — payment processing Coaching fees are processed securely via Stripe. I do not store your card details. Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy

Substack — email newsletter and podcast distribution Your email address is held by Substack when you subscribe to Joy Ambition. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. Privacy policy: substack.com/privacy

Zoom — video session hosting Coaching sessions are hosted via Zoom. Zoom processes connection and participation data. Recordings are handled via Fathom (see below). Privacy policy: zoom.us/privacy

Fathom — video session recording Coaching sessions may be recorded using Fathom, with your explicit consent given at the start of our container. Recordings are used solely for your benefit (e.g. to review session insights). Privacy policy: fathom.video/privacy

Notion — session notes and container documentation Client session notes and shared documents are stored in Notion during your coaching container. Privacy policy: notion.so/privacy

WhatsApp / Voxer — voice note coaching support Between-session support is delivered via voice note on WhatsApp or Voxer, depending on your container. These platforms are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. WhatsApp privacy policy: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy

Google (Gmail / Google Drive) — email and document management Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

6. How Long I Keep Your Data

  • Session recordings (Fathom) — deleted 6 months after your coaching container ends

  • Session notes (Notion) — deleted 6 months after your coaching container ends

  • Voice note conversations (WhatsApp/Voxer) — deleted at the end of your container

  • Acuity booking and intake form data — deleted 12 months after your last appointment

  • Email correspondence — retained for up to 5 years for legitimate business purposes

  • Financial records (invoices, payments) — retained for 10 years in accordance with French accounting law

  • Substack subscriptions — held until you unsubscribe

7. Cookies

My website uses cookies to improve your experience. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit.

I use the following types of cookies:

  • Functionality cookies — to keep you signed in and remember your preferences

  • Analytics cookies — to understand how visitors use the site (via Squarespace Analytics)
